Self-paced study modules

Each module includes video lectures and learning resources created by senior designers and hiring managers that are designed to help you fully grasp important concepts and gain practical tools for job search and building a thriving career.

Weekly group coaching sessions

Hosted by our program lead, Janus Tiu, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and receive feedback on your work every week at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST on Wednesdays. All sessions will be recorded.

6 X 1:1 coaching sessions with tech’s best designers

Within the program, you will have six 30-minute one-on-one live coaching sessions with coaches who work in tech, like Meta and Microsoft. You’ll receive actionable feedback for your resume, career, and portfolio.

Exclusive design workshops

We invite design professionals to run regular workshops exclusively for our community members and students. We will cover practical design topics such as presenting like a pro, managing stakeholders, and product strategy for designers, which are usually not taught in design schools or bootcamps.

Work with Janus, who has coached and taught over 800+ new-to-senior designers

Janus is a Product Design Lead with a portfolio of top-notch design experience with both in-house and agency design teams. She worked with tech companies and industry-leading companies like BNY Mellon, McKinsey & Company, BMW USA, Critical Mass, and Autotrader.

Janus’ passion for design extends far beyond her 9-5 job. She was a design instructor at Dribbble and BrainStation design programs. She has taught or mentored over 800 new-to-senior designers to navigate the often challenging tech industry for 4 years. Her mentees and students land jobs at Amazon, Dropbox, Cisco, Accenture, Avanade, Scotiabank, Deloitte, PwC, and other great companies.

She was also a guest speaker/lecturer at TEDx, the University of Waterloo, Western University, ADPList Design Conferences, and more.

Janus holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from King’s College London, UK, and a Product Management Professional Certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Leverage the latest insights in the product design job marketplace to secure your dream job and know what to expect throughout the hiring process. Take time to reflect on your career journey and identify the skills and experiences that hiring companies are seeking to improve your chances of success in your job search. Gather and curate your work to ensure it meets industry requirements and stands out to potential employers.

✲ Week 2: Create an Unforgettable Portfolio

Learn all about portfolio creation and showcase your best work that highlights your design and business impact in an attractive portfolio. A Framer template and numerous examples of past successful graduates' portfolios will be provided.

✲ Week 3: Write a Resume and Prepare Your LinkedIn Profile for Your Dream Roles

We’ll show you the industry’s best secrets for writing a resume and creating a Linkedin profile that makes you stand out and guarantees you get noticed by hiring managers. You will be asked to submit your resume for a detailed review by ATS and a hiring manager.

✲ Week 4: Interview Prep — BQs, Whiteboard Design Challenges, and Cultural-fit Interviews

Learn everything you need to know for interview preparation for product designers, from phone screening, behavioral interviews, whiteboard challenges, and even cultural-fit interviews. In our group session, you will be doing a whiteboard challenge with your peers.

✲ Week 5: Interview Prep — App Critiques & Portfolio Presentation Interview

Master the art of presenting case studies using the power of storytelling. Showcase your fantastic portfolio to your peers and instructors and gain priceless feedback to set goals for continuous improvement.

✲ Week 6: Land Your Dream Job & Succeed In It

Explore the key factors to consider when negotiating your salary and benefits and get the compensation package you deserve. We'll share the best practices and resources to help you offboard from your last role and onboard to the new one.

We recommend setting aside at least 4-6 hours a week to complete the study modules and tasks.

For 1:1 sessions, you can schedule them based on your availability and preferences through our online platform. Sessions will be held at times friendly to both Europe and North America and will be hosted by professional career coaches.

Group coaching sessions will be held every Wednesday 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST by our program lead, Janus. All sessions will be recorded and uploaded to our platform right after the session.

Yes, you will need to submit assignments that help you build a winning candidate job application & interview package.

The program is not designed to teach UX and Product Design. It is focused on job search tactics and business design, assuming that enrollees already have a fundamental understanding of UX and Product Design. We will share industry best practices and provide practical design tips throughout the program.
Yes, you can enroll in this program. However, you are encouraged to have at least one design project which can be included in your portfolio. We will provide you with a Framer template so you can start building your portfolio from scratch. We will provide you with feedback for your portfolio throughout the program.
Online videos, templates, and materials:
New modules will be released every Monday on our online platform. Each module includes video lectures and learning resources that are designed to help you fully grasp important concepts and gain practical tools and templates for implementation.
Take the time to work through the modules at your own pace, and feel free to access the courses anytime, anywhere, from your laptop or phone. You will have 6-month access to the program.
Live group coaching sessions:
You will receive meeting invites and links to the weekly group coaching sessions.
1:1 coaching sessions:
You will receive a code to book your sessions on an online scheduling tool. All sessions must be completed 1 month after completing the program. Sessions will run at Europe & North America-friendly times. All sessions must be completed no later than 1 month after the completion of the program.
This program is suitable for designers who are at junior-to-senior level, serving as individual contributors. This program is the first-ever curriculum-based career coaching program with a proven track record. It distinguishes itself from others on the market by offering on-demand training, a wealth of resources, and 1:1 mentorships with designers from tech companies. This provides the comprehensive information you need not just to search for your next job, but also to succeed in your design career. Yes, recordings are shared after each session on our platform.
No. You'll have access to all the materials and recorded sessions for 6 months. However, to make the most out of the program, we recommend you attend key sessions and ask questions throughout the course.
Yes, we offer 2-month payment plans. The first installment is due upon registration. If the second payment fails, access to the program will be suspended immediately until the payment issue is resolved.
It depends. For group sessions, you can expect around 10-15 peers, allowing us to conduct group activities. If we have more participants, we will open additional group coaching sessions and workshops to accommodate the needs. We have a team of 7 educators and 2 program coordinators to make sure every participant receives personalized support.
